Services & Terms

All paperwork will be dealt with by me personally plus I will deal with dvla on your behalf. Whether the mark is to be transferred, assigned or retained I will ensure a safe and easy transaction. This service is free of charge if the registration mark is purchased from me.

Auction - bidding on your behalf

DVLA have Five Live Auctions & Four Timed Auctions per year. If there's a mark of interest I can advise on approx hammer price & my opinion of maximum bid - On completion of paperwork I can bid on your behalf - My fee for a successful bid is modest (please request price) & zero fee for a failed bid. If there is a mark you would wish & its not been previously issued I can request inclusion at an auction for you.  I have 23 years experience bidding and will give you honest advice. Please Note : We are not DVLA agents.

Data Protection

Registrationmarks.co.uk Ltd does not pass on details to a 3rd party and all card details are shredded as per the data protection act. The only details kept are the seller or purchaser details for personal data base only.

Failed Transfers

Failed transfers are rare but can occur when I am dependent on a third party. My firm's liability is limited to full refund of part payment or full purchase price.

Clients place a modest amount of money into registrations to resell for profit. Working together we select certain marks for you to purchase & then price accordingly to place on the market to make a profit. You can buy as many marks as you like investing as little or as much as you wish. Over a period of time your portfolio will build whilst I locate purchasers on your behalf, you can re-invest some or all of the profit rotating your stock as well as building up capital.

Purchasing a mark

Part payment of £200 reserves the number plate & takes the mark off sale -  payment can be made via secure online terminal or via telephone. Many numbers can now be assigned online so can be completed within hours & balance will be due immediately. Balance payment by direct transfer of funds or cheque only.. If online is not possible most transactions will be completed within 14 days & balance is due with paperwork required.. All are plus DfT fee of £80 (vat maybe applicable) All marks offered are subject to remaining unsold

Retention Document / Certificate of Entitlement

If the mark you have purchased is supplied on a retention document or certificate of entitlement it can be initially held for 10 years & thereafter renewed within 28 days for a further 10 years.. All advise given is in accorandance to dvla rules at the time of printing.

Selling your mark

Placing your number with Registrationmarks.co.uk is free of charge and obligation. I will advise if I receive any offers and ask if you wish to accept or decline.. All decisions are yours.. Your number will be placed in my adverts but it will be on a rotation basis due to volume.. If you sell or wish to remove your mark this is totally acceptable and there is no penalty fee for this but I do ask you inform me. My commission is only earned once I have sold your mark.
